Caro Lestón is a Galician-Colombian artist based in London.

Her practice is a multidisciplinary one. She is an artist led by ideas, not medium, refusing to deny her expression the freedom it demands. Caro’s ideas tell her how they want to be materialised, she does not choose. This has allowed her to create an extensive body of work spanning across painting, video, textile, performance, and installation,

Her interests lie with intimacy, language, memories, and her experiences of womanhood. She investigates the spaces where they all intersect, feeling through creating and experiencing humanity at its fullest. Her art and expression are love letters to the life and world that surprise, move, and embrace her every day.
