[ESSAY] Covert Colonisation: The present-day effect of Western involvement on Indigenous communities and the Amazon biome.

Hi everyone, thank you for reading my first blog post the other week!

Today I have uploaded one of my most recent written pieces to the blog. This essay discusses deforestation in a way which centres the Indigenous peoples it affects the most, with an insight into the violence that comes with the destruction of ancestral land- in this case, the Amazon. I hope this piece helps to open a line of discussion in which Indigenous land, people, and voices are centered and put at the forefront of this matter.
